CHICKEN PALAK



Ingredients


2 onions, sliced
1 clove garlic, crushed
1 tomato chopped
Pinch of salt
1/2 teaspoon ground cloves
1 teaspoon ground coriander
1 teaspoon ground cumin
1/4 pint milk
8oz spinach
4 chicken breasts
8oz long grain rice
1 teaspoon salt


Method

  • Fry the onion and garlic over a gentle heat for 10 minutes. Add tomato, salt and spices and cook for 5 mins. Stir in the milk and spinach and chicken cover and cook untill the chicken is tender and cooked.
  • Put in the rice, 1 pint of water and salt, bring to the boil and stir lower the heat to simmer,
  • cover and cook until the rice is cooked.
  • Serve the chicken while hot.
